Washington news, Dhaka,Tuesday  May 06.2025: The interim government of Bangladesh has announced a holiday on 10 days on the occasion of the upcoming Eid -ul -Azha. The decision was taken at the Advisory Council meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday (May 7th).

Later, the chief adviser press secretary Shafiqul Alam was informed in a post on the Verified Facebook page.

The two of them will be open on Saturday 8 and 28 May, the post said.

Last Eid -ul -Fitr was a 5 -day holiday drawn from March 25 to April 1. The government announced five days before Eid. There, one more day was extended by the executive order.
