Poet Abdul Hai Mashreki honored Japan expatriate Al Monir

Washington News, Dhaka, May 31, 2025, Saturday: On the occasion of the 116th birth anniversary of the poet Abdul Hai Mashreki, the poet Sufia Kamal of the National Museum of the capital, Sufia Kamal Auditorium, was held on Saturday, May 31, at 8pm. Al -Munir, a resident of Japan, was honored with the honor of poet Abdul Hai Mashreki for his contribution to the event as an expatriate entrepreneur.

It is reported that Ostad Jamal Hassan, a disciple of Ghazal Emperor Mehdi Hasan, served the ghazal at the honors ceremony.

The chief guest was present on the occasion, Dr. AFM Motiur Rahman, Chairman, Employment Bank and former Secretary, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Shah Nurul Kabir Shahin, former parliamentarian, BNP, actor and recital artist Shankar Sanjwal, and ATN Bangla adviser Tashik Ahmed were present as special guests.

This year’s event has been awarded the ‘Mashreki Honor 2025’ award. The guests have given a certificate as a prize in the hands of the honors, special crests and towel yogurt yogurt. Among them, Mr. Al Monir, a resident of Japan, received special honors as an expatriate entrepreneur. He is a resident of Brahmanbaria in Bangladesh.
